Hey all!
Seeing as I'm running this thing, I figured I'd make an intro for myself so everyone can get to know me a little better. You'll have to bear with me because I'm *TERRIBLE* at introductions though ><
Lets see, I'm Thrash, I've been a furry for around four years now, being active in the fandom for around two. I regularly attend furmeets in Glasgow, as well as host my own in Aberdeen. Back over at UKFur I organise the group pic, a giant annual commission in its second year. I have interests in the art, costuming and fiction sides of the fandom. A good friend mentioned in passing how nice it would be for Scotland to have it's own con some time back, before I'd attended my first convention. I didn't really forget about it, but it went to the back of my mind until after RBW '08, where I started to plan a few ideas, and then at the start of this year, got together some friends I believed would be interested in getting ScotiaCon off the ground. To my relife, they were incredibly enthusiastic, so we started work. and now here we are, with only 12 months to go until Scotlands premier furcon :)
If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here, add me on msn and ask me, or send me an email ;)
