Dealers’ Den and Artists’ Alley

The Dealers’ Den and Artists’ Alley is where you will find art, costume items and lots of other things to buy. You can commission the artists for a conbadge or a sketch, or you can bid on all the amazing items we have for sale in the charity auction.

The opening hours of the Den and Alley are to be announced later, but already now we can tell you that the opening hours will be expanded compared to last year.

The dealers will have time to set up their tables before it opens and to take them down again after closing. The room is dedicated to being a Dealers’ Den and Artists’ Alley this year so you will not need to bring your items with you when the room closes. The room will be locked outside of opening hours. However, your items are your own responsibility at any time.

If you want to be a dealer or artist then you need to register as such when you register for the concention (you can also add this option afterwards). You also need to send an email to dealersden [at] scotiacon [dot] co [dot] uk and we will be happy to assist you. Please state the following in your mail:

• Nick name
• Registration number
• What kind of merchandise you would like to sell
• An estimation of how much table space and how many chairs you need

We can provide you with a table and a white table cloth, as well as power supply. Should you have other wishes then you may have to bring it yourself, but feel free to mention these in your email and we will see what we can do for you.

As space is limited, we want to make sure that any dealer or artist registering will also show up to claim their table (which could otherwise have gone to a different dealer or artist). Therefore there is a deposit of £5 which must be paid when registering. This deposit is not per table but per dealer or artist. As the amount is only a deposit, you will get the full amount back as soon as you have set up your table. You can also choose to donate this amount to charity if you wish.
